Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 3C certification does not have charging speed upgrade

Samsung’s foldable smartphones are among the slowest in the industry when it comes to charging speed, and the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 could be the same as both are 3C certified with 25W chargers.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 (SM-F9560) and Galaxy Z Flip6 (SM-F7410) support up to 25W charging with the EP-TA800 charger on 3C’s website, the same as the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5. Galaxy S24 (S24+ and S24 Ultra go up to 45W).

Of course, the 3C listing mentioning a 25W charger for both foldables doesn’t mean that 25W will be the maximum charging speed supported by the two phones. However, considering how stubborn Samsung has historically been about charging speeds, we wouldn’t hold our breath to see one of these two phones – with 45W or more charging support.

That said, while the charging speed of the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 is unlikely to be upgraded, we can see the Flip6 packing a bigger battery than its predecessor (4,000 mAh vs 3,700 mAh).
