Nubia gaming wing Red Magic is gearing up to launch a new paint job for its flagship phone. Red Magic 9 Pro+ Bumblebee is coming on March 29 as per a newly shared teaser.
This is the second time such a partnership has happened after the 8S Pro+ got a Transformer paint job.
There are no images of the phone online yet, but we’ll likely see some teasers in the days leading up to the event. We expect a yellow color job that will maintain the gaming aesthetic.
This Red Magic 9 Pro+ edition is slightly different from its non-Plus variant and is also unlikely to be made in China. Specs-wise, the phone packs a 5,500 mAh battery with 165W charging and up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
The phone is priced at CNY5,499 ($775), which goes up to CNY6,999 ($1,000) depending on memory options. We expect the Red Magic 9 Pro+ Bumblebee to be in the same range.
