Honor X8b announced with 108MP main cam and up to 512GB storage

Honor announced its latest X-series smartphone with the X8b, offering solid specs for a midranger with plenty of storage and a 108MP main cam. The Honor X8b comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.

The panel comes with a pill-shaped cutout called the Magic Capsule that provides system and status notifications. There is a 50MP front-facing camera that also has its own flash.

Despite its 6.7-inch screen, the Honor X8b is only 6.78 mm thick and weighs just 166 grams. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128/256/512GB storage trim.

The rear has a 108MP main cam, a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The software side is covered by MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 while the battery comes in at 4,500 mAh and supports 35W charging.

Honor X8b comes in Glamorous Green, Titanium Silver and Midnight Black colors. Pricing for the 8/128GB trim starts at MYR 999 ($213) in Malaysia. The device is listed in Saudi Arabia for SAR 799 ($213).
