Nubia posts first Z60 Ultra teasers, slightly reveals camera design

The Nubia Z60 Ultra is coming on December 19, and today, we got a look at what the phone might look like. Two images, courtesy of the brand’s page on Weibo, reveal that the new flagship will have a flat front panel and sides.

At the same time, on the back, there will be a large “outstanding” camera that will bring an “unprecedented photo experience”.

The phone’s main camera is expected to have a 35mm equivalent focal length, which isn’t a new feature as we’ve seen on the Z50S Pro and Axon 40 Ultra. We expect a new sensor on the back, but only time will tell.

The poster also says, “The first Ultra of the 23/24 season”, clearly poking fun at the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both expected in the first month of next year.

The camera island must come with a unique design because, after heavy exposure manipulation, we see another shooter in the flat-side image. It could be the ultra-wide angle shooter, which has a 64MP sensor on previous phones from ZTE and its partner Nubia.

We expect Nubia to post more teasers in the coming days with more details about its new under-display selfie camera.
