Tecno is preparing to launch a new phone called Pova 6 Neo. The device appeared on the Google Play Console with key spaces and a single image, revealing a flat screen with a punch hole.
According to the listing, the device with model number Tecno LI6 will have an MT6789/CD chipset and will ship with Android 14 out of the box.
The MediaTek platform is a variant of the Helio G99, an LTE-only SoC. The Google Play Console listing also revealed a Full HD+ resolution of the display and an 8 GB RAM option.
The Tecno Pova 6 Neo name has also been confirmed – the phone will join the Tecno Pova 6, which was also listed on the Google Play Console.
However, since the certification did not provide any further information, we have no clear idea where the difference could come from, especially since the regular Pova 6 was seen with the Helio G99.
